How to remove pimple scars

As someone who suffered from pimple and therefore pimple scars for many years, I understand what an irritation they can be. I tried many things on the journey to finding out how to remove pimple scars, finding that the natural approach was a real winner for me personally. The first thing you want to do is not make your scars any worse, which means not picking at them and having a basic level of hygiene to keep your skin clean and fresh at all times. Eating healthy and drinking plenty of water will also lessen your risk of more acne in the future. Once you have this covered, it’s time to try different techniques until you find out what works for you in order to reduce your acne scarring significantly if not eliminate it completely!

Something to use on your skin to help reduce your acne scars is lemon juice. Combine fresh lemon juice with an equal part of water and apply it to your acne scars directly. Leave this on for around 15 minutes, you can even leave it to soak onto your skin overnight if your skin is particularly problematic. Make sure that you wash your face and gently moisturize thoroughly after this natural treatment because lemon juice is acidic and can be harmful to surrounding skin if exposed for too long. Something that also worked really well for me was applying Aloe vera to my acne scars. Aloe vera has so many benefits to the body and helping to treat scars and blemishes is one of them. You can buy aloe vera in most health stores and you will find that applying it directly to your skin daily will moisturize and nourish, in addition to diminishing scars from acne. There are many other “home remedies” out there for acne scars including honey, ice cubes and apple cider vinegar – although I haven’t got any experience with those personally they are said to work well.

If you want to know how to remove pimple scars, there are obviously other methods available to you other than the ones mentioned. This includes over the counter products that you can purchase or even be prescribed from your doctor. With so many lotions and creams, check out online reviews and consult your GP to find out which ones work effectively, because there are many on the market that do not. If your acne skins are really affecting your confidence and no products (natural or otherwise) have worked, there are more severe things that you can do. Chemical skin peels are increasing in popularity and although harsh on the skin, chemical skin peels will make you look younger and help to get rid of your acne scars for good. Laser treatment can be expensive and a little painful at first, but it works to reduce your pimple scars and give you a fresh faced look. It’s really down to you to decide what is best to get rid of acne scars through trial and error but I definitely recommend trying natural methods before you do anything too drastic.
